Ed Carrasco is currently a freelance photographer and writer based in Southern California. Some of his photographs/articles have been featured in publications such as the Guardian, LA Weekly, OC Weekly, the Fullertonian, Cerritos-Artesia Patch and Orange Coast Magazine.
Ed has many years of journalism experience in hand, including a Commentary Editor position at the Coast Report in Coast Mesa, Calif., and three internships (FHM, LA CityBeat [R.I.P.], Remixin.com). His articles have been featured in LA CityBeat and Metromix Los Angeles. His weaponry skills, namely his pen, has earned him great distinction from the Journalism Association of Community Colleges, where he was three awards at its conferences.
In addition to his journalistic ventures, Ed is also a walkabout photographer, chronicling nightlife in Downtown Fullerton and places throughout Southern California.
